Creating high performance buildings
Syntegral have been CIBSE Low Carbon Consultants since the scheme launched in 2007. We take an interconnected approach to improving building performance across our projects, considering various interrelated issues, including energy, carbon, acoustics, health, and well-being.
Our expertise includes stakeholder engagement, detailed fully dynamic modelling simulations, acoustics, soft landings, BMS analysis, commissioning measurement, and verification. We support clients in improving the performance of individual buildings, as well as across entire organisations.
From repurposing existing buildings, such as the Princes Gardens Preparatory School in the City of Westminster, to new high-class facilities, such as Peri UK’s new head office and production facilities, we promote the use of Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) to obtain feedback post completion during occupation.
We were involved in the redevelopment of the Coventry University Jaguar Building. Here, we optimised the performance of the façade, allowing the entire building to operate passive ventilation using CO2 detectors and automatic opening louvres in the atrium.
Syntegral have designed, monitored, and optimised the decarbonisation of buildings in various sectors. Delivering buildings which redefine sustainable design.
We encourage all our clients to invest beyond compliance to help ensure their buildings perform as designed. This is where our expertise is used to ensure that design predictions are credible. We aim to make buildings more efficient and healthier at every stage of development, from planning to occupation.
